Tall case brass dial clock, 1788-1821.

Tall-case clock. The hood has a cove molded broken-scroll pediment terminating in carved pinwheels, three brass urn-and-spire finials, sidelights with astragal tops, free-standing turned columns at the front corners, quarter-columns at the back corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. Waist with cove and ovolo moldings at the top and a case door with an astragal top. Base with cove and ovolo moldings at the top, ogee molding at the bottom and supported on bracket feet with large spurs. Engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, engraved scrolls and arrows in the spandrels, chamfered edges with engraved chevrons, a seconds dial above the hands, and a calendar aperture. The lunette, separate from the dial and attached by small screws or pins, is engraved "Levi and Abel Hutchins Concord." Eight day movement.
